Two days until I enter!!

And I'm sick :( Some sort of upper respiratory bug. Yuck.

Today my mom is throwing a going away party for family and close friends.

Tomorrow I'll be going to Drew to say good-bye

Monday I'll be entering the monastery!

I'm finally all packed for the monastery, but my room is a disaster area. My parents aren't making me pack everything up in my room and stuff sooooo I don't have that much to do.

Kind of overwhelmed. Because I'm not freaking out I'm kind of worried that once I enter I'll be like "ahhh".

Dunno.

Prayers please :)

Love you all!

The Grant People were supposed to have the board meeting today to decide who gets the grants. According to the letter I got (acknowledgement that they received my application), they will let the applicants know via email once they know. Well, they should know by now....and I hope they email tomorrow morning so I know!! It is tough since my entrance date is only in 11 days, so they know that I need to know soon!

Tomorrow I'm going down to DC for the Missionaries of the Eucharist Weekend. Saturday we'll walk between the three abortion mills in DC, praying outside each. Sunday is community day and our annual meeting. Monday is a day of reflection and reparation. Tuesday is the March for Life! So I'm excited to get a chance to say good-bye to everyone, and also to meet missionaries I haven't met yet!  The not so exciting part is that winter requires a lot more clothing than summer does....so packing is a bit more complicated than the summer was.

Annnd......

A picture of the new hair cut....

And it fits perfectly underneath my veils :)

Why are politics so confusing?
-Because we can't get a straight answer out of our politicians. The majority of the voting American public knows their own personal views on the issues....they just need to find out which politician matches up with their views.  Easy right? Wrong.

What exactly does Hiliary Clinton stand for? Whatever the closest person wants her to apparently.
Why can't politicians desire presidency out of a deep desire to make a difference in America? What if we seriously reduced the salary of the President, had them live in an apartment in the projects (so they could more fully understand the every day dilemas of many Americans), and made them pay at least part of the airfare for their travels? Would we get Presidents who really want to make a difference rather than those who just want the attention and publicity?

Power does something to a person, it makes them think that whoever is closest to them has a better idea for American then their own.

Let's stick to our standards, America.

PS- Hilary's comment "No Woman is Illegal"  (http://www.lvrj.com/news/13702902.html) .....very interesting. Not sure what she was trying to say. She does, however, seem to support any woman so long as they are outside of the womb....otherwise she supports their murder.
